Supporting our local communities is hugely important to us

As a business, we believe in the importance of supporting our local communities.

We spend our working day helping to support local businesses professionally but we don't want our support of the local area to end there. We focus a lot of attention and take great pride in caring for our local communities, through charitable work and support. 

Each year, we ask our team for nominations of local charities that they would like PSB to support. We are very pleased to be involved with several amazing local organisations, offering what help we can.

Team Effort...

What an absolute pleasure it’s been supporting Alzheimer's Society in their Trek26 Challenge.

Saturday 1st June saw a group of us embark on a 13 mile ‘stroll’ in the most beautiful scenery of the Lake District and we enjoyed every minute of it (well almost every minute of it!).

How lucky we are to have a fabulous team here at Parkin S Booth - we have raised an amazing £3,675 so far with still time for us to raise more for this amazing cause (justgiving.com). A huge thank you to all who have supported our efforts ❤️

Go girls football.....and other kid's sport!

 

Our latest community 'venture' has been supporting one of the local girls' football teams and a primary school in Chester. What a privilege it is for us to be able to sponsor both the Girls' Under 8s/9s team at Upton Junior Football Club and the Christleton Primary School sports kits.

 

We think there's a lot to be learnt from kid's sport - watching a group of 8 & 9 year old's showing grit and determination and how they naturally work together to form their little teams is inspiring - there must a be a team building case study in that somewhere?!

 

Sponsorship enables kits to be provided to kids, some of whom aren't in a position for their parents to provide, which makes it a more level playing field for all, no matter of background. Something we're so passionate about!
